Privacy notice

What we keep

• Your email address and username, so you can log in.
• The date you accepted the terms.
• Your journal entries (check-ins, sessions, goals and cues). During the beta, some entries are still saved only in your browser on that device.
• When you open a past entry, and whether you opened it from History or from a check-in. We use this only to learn whether looking back helps. It's stored with your journal and deleted with your account.
• When you open Insights, whether from home or your profile, and when you tap “Make it your next focus?”. We use this only to learn whether Insights helps. No numbers or entries are copied into it. It's stored with your journal and deleted with your account.

We don't ask for your date of birth or age, and we don't sell your data.

Who helps us run Varde

• Supabase stores your account and journal, and handles logging in.
• Resend sends account emails (confirmation, sign-in and password links).
• Cloudflare Turnstile runs a quick bot check on the sign-up, log-in and password screens. It looks at your browser and device to tell people from automated programs, and is not used for advertising.
• Vercel hosts the app. It also counts visits anonymously (Vercel Web Analytics): which pages are viewed, and the type of device and country. It uses no cookies and does not identify you.

Your choices

• Your journal is private by default. Nothing is shared with coaches or other athletes.
• Before the public launch you'll be able to download and delete your data.
